Job Responsibilities:

* Supervise activities of production
* Direct and coordinates activities associated with the production department
* Supervise all plants safety rules and regulations
* Document incident, disciplinary action, accident/injury reports when needed
* Advanced understanding of all production positions
* Help with the up-keep of the entire plant
* Assist in the training of new team members
* Fill in for supervisors when required, due to vacation, offsite meetings and absenteeism
* Fill in on other areas of the plant as required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

This position conducts their work in a manufacturing environment with some exposure to the outdoors; there is exposure to loud machinery, fumes, odors, and dust. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., with possible overtime required. Business is cyclical and will require flexibility in shift hours and days of the week worked.

For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling constantly up to 50 pounds. In addition this position requires the following abilities: Standing, Walking, Lifting, Reaching above shoulders, Bending and Twisting.

* High School Diploma/GED equivalent strongly preferred
* Ability to use measuring gauges such as a measuring tape
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
* Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards of products.
* Knowledge of the operation of the 4 key operators positions, compounding, foam head, saw and QC lab.
* Knowledge and certified in Lock-out, Tag-out program
* SAP and SAPi proficient.
* Understanding of plant driving metrics and plant goals.
* Leadership and supervisory skills
* Knowledge of production schedule
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, education verification (if applicable), reference check, and physical abilities test (PAT).
