Description Position Title: Learning Resources Graduate Assistant - Advising and Academic Resource Center (AARC)Supervisor's Title & Department: Director of Learning Resources, Advising and Academic Resource Center (AARC)Session: Academic, (August 12, 2024-May 16, 2025) This is a one-year placement with an opportunity for re-application and hire.Hourly Rate: $17.00Average hours per week: Up to 20 hours per weekJob Purpose: To provide direct service support to Academic Coaching, Peer Academic Coaching, and PASS in the Advising and Academic Resource Center through individual work with students, small group activities/workshops, teaching, and observations. In addition, the graduate assistant will conduct research on various issues related to tutoring and supplemental instruction, academic coaching, and effective teaching strategies. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the administration of other programs as offered by the Learning Resource and Advising and Academic Resource Centers.Skills Development or Learning Opportunity Available (NACE):
