American Welding & Gas, Inc.is seeking an energetic, self-motivated candidate to fill a Account Manager position at our Waller, TXlocation.

General Duties:

The Account Manager will develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of
products and services. Responsible for increasing awareness of company and the features and benefits of the
many products and services. Some overnight travel may be required.

Essential Functions:

Increase sales within territory. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain

product features, and solicit orders. Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary.

Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment. Provide instruction and support to

customers as needed. Deliver product as necessary.

Provide training and communication to store employees regarding programs, to improve competitive position and
improve customer service levels.

Work with Branch Manager to create and maintain consistent, profitable and competitive pricing structure.

Assist in maintaining acceptable accounts receivable percentages.
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing weekly call reports, sales budgets and reports, keeping sales
records, and filing expense account reports.

Comply with all rules, policies and procedures as well as Federal, State and Local Laws.

Class A CDL with HazMat, depending on location.

Non-Essential Functions:

Assist with other duties/departments as needed

Work Experience:

1 -3 Years Experience

Knowledge of welding products and equipment is helpful.
Reports to Branch Manager or Sales Manager, depending on location

Education Level:

High School Diploma or GED
