Accounting Clerk/Specialist

The Accounting Specialist will be handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks. Prior customer service/ credit & collections preferred along with an understanding of both AR and AP functions. You will also be supporting other accounting functions as needed.

*Accounts Receivable:

Check and cash deposits to the bank. Assist in reviewing new customer applications and setting up accounts. Handle phone inquiries and payments from customers. Collaborate with AR Manager on customer collections.

*Accounts Payable:

Process accounts payable bills and act as backup for other AP team members. Prepare assigned vendor checks for signature. Address vendor discrepancies and issues, including research and reconciliation. Process corporate credit card bills and assist with card issuance. Manage vendor insurance certificates. Support Accounting projects as required.

Experience Required:

Construction Preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in either Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.

- Previous customer service experience preferred.

- Experience with ERP systems required, familiarity with NetSuite is a bonus.

Salary: $58,000-$62,500
