RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a Global Bio-Sciences client based in Cambridge, Massachusetts (MA) that is hiring an Accounting Manager for their Corporate Finance Team. The Accounting Manager will support R&D finance and will be involved with leading accounting operations, business partnering (with stakeholders, corporate FP&A, department heads) and supporting clinical trials. This position is based in Cambridge with hybrid/remote flexibility (expectation to be in the office 2-3 days/week).Summary:This is a full circle accounting role responsible for month end close, accruals, analyzing budgets to actuals, preparation of financial results, ensuring SOX compliance, and financial support to the drug development team. Highlights of this company include bonus, restricted stock, and rotational career advancement.REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Accounting; CPA a plus
- 5-8 years of experience, with Big 4 experience
- Analytical mindset and interest in supporting Pharma industry
- Meticulous attention to detail including the ability to perform detailed analytical tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
