The ACCS Adult Counselor provides case management and clinical support for clients in our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program. They work with licensed clinicians to develop comprehensive recovery based services to adults with serious mental illness. Participates as part of a multi-disciplinary team and coordinates/evaluates program services as required by client specific action plans. Requires valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle for client transportation.
Your Role as an ACCS Adult Counselor
The clinicians in our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program work with their supervisors and colleagues to develop clinical assessments, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for clients. They also lead development of comprehensive recovery-based services, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and provide clinical leadership for an assigned group of clients. This position works with other community organizations including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and legal departments, in which you will gain invaluable experience navigating community systems. The ACCS Counselor works as part of an integrated team to support the whole person in their recovery journey.
