BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Administrative Assistant in Phoenix, AZ 85007

JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
JOB LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ 85007
DURATION: 06 Months with possibility of extension


DESCRIPTION:
Serves as the Administrative Assistant for Special Fund adjusters and Main Receptionist for Special Fund Division.
Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, completing research/providing information regarding workers compensation claims, and routing calls to appropriate party.
Responsible for prepping, scanning, indexing, and verifying documents in FileHandler system.
Facilitates the administration of No Insurance/Bankrupt Self-Insured, Apportionment, Pre-1973 Supportive Care, and Vocational Rehabilitation programs, including but not limited to; new claim set up, awards, payment entry, and other correspondence.
Coordinates daily work with Special Fund administrative staff.
Provides cross-training and documents all job duties to fellow Special Fund Administrative staff, with the exception of confidential job duties. Provides back-up for other administrative functions.
Participates in Administrative Huddleboard
Proactively identifies new and/or additional assistance that can be provided for the division to provide value-added service to ease administrative burden.
Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Skills in multi-line switchboard, scanning
and reviewing documents, organization and time management, and with oral and written
communication. Ability to perform various clerical and administrative tasks, research claims, provide
excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and utilize initiative, judgment and
independence in the performance of duties.

PREFERENCES:
Two years of administrative experience that involves working with and reviewing workers' compensation claims.
Using computer systems, telephone, office equipment.
Researching and reviewing workers' compensation files.
Techniques in monitoring work assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
Scanning and reviewing documents.
Organization and time management.
Interpersonal relations.
Oral and written communication
Perform varied clerical and administrative tasks.
Research files.
Provide excellent customer service in a consistently professional manner.
Organize and strategize.
Utilize initiative, judgment and independence in the performance of duties.
Coordinate document scanning.
