Summary of Role:
The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of the epitaxy process; ensuring wafer quality is upheld to the highest standards by controlling the Cp/Cpk of inline, electrical parameters and defectivity. The team is also responsible for the development of new and emerging epi technologies and recipes through definition/execution of experiments and technical data analysis.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Work with equipment, shift, manufacturing, integration and device teams to ensure production wafer quality and on time delivery.
- Engage with industrial engineering and equipment teams to ensure on time qualification/release of new tools.
- Mentor and train technicians on shift to support quality and delivery metrics for 24x7 fab operations.
- Develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards
- Create, analyze and review technical SPC (statistical process control) charts
- Establish SOP (standard operating procedure) and FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis) for related process
- Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and qualification schedule
- Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications
- Drive CIP (continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver organizational goals
- Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed
Other Responsibilities:- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education - Graduating with BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical or other relevant engineering physical science discipline or related field from an accredited degree program is required.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range$52,500.00 - $107,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
