Agile Scrum Master

This role will leverage agile project management to champion a project, teams, and team members. This individual must be committed to the scrum values and practices but should also remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflow. The focus of this role is on the software development team, taking steps to ensure the team and individual team members achieve success.

Requirements

Working experience of agile methodology and ceremonies

Agile Software (Jira): use of Scrum and Kanban as well as waterfall

In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle as well as traditional project management principles and practices

Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques

Management of product backlog in a shared environment

Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

Familiar with software delivery orchestration tools (Ansible, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)

Microsoft Office business applications (PowerPoint, Excel, VISIO)

Intermediate level technical writing skills

Ability to build processes based on application design

Solution and delivery metrics

Familiar with API delivery solutions

Coaching the team on scrum principles and best practices

Facilitating open discussion and conflict resolution

Updating activities in a project management tracking tool

Communicating between team members about evolving requirements

Handling administrative tasks such as conducting meetings

Help Product Owners optimize the backlog planning

Nice to have

 Release Management

Technical infrastructure experience/knowledge (DDI, Load Balancing, Data, Proxy, Firewall)

Tableau reporting

Microsoft project, Visio, Word, Excel

Some knowledge of Python
