Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Manager

Under the administrative direction of the Nurse Director, the Clinical Nurse Manager identifies, develops, and oversees policies and procedures that support excellence in clinical practice and fosters an environment of care which reflects the mission and vision of Newton Wellesley Hospital. The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for the supporting and maintaining quality standards of nursing care and practice within the clinical area.

The Clinical Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Director, is responsible for the recruitment and retention of employees and the partnering with the NWMG leadership to support departmental and organizational goals. While the Medical group includes hospital based as well as off site clinics, the focus of this role is the Primary Care/Family Medicine practices.

Education, training of Nursing staff. In conjunction with the Practice Manager, training and program development for clinial support staff: Medical Assistants and LPNs.

Qualifications
3-5 years Nursing Experience

2 years experience in Primary Care/Ambulatory Care

Bachelor's Degree Required, Masters' Degree preferred.

Demonstrated Leadership ability required

Management Experience preferred.

Strong communication skills
