Accountabilities:Primarily responsible for strategic and effective leadership of the business and finance operations for the Colgate Athletics Department. Oversight also includes equipment, information technology, revenue generation and sport oversight.

Description:Demonstrated knowledge and experience in athletic administration with proven ability to strategically lead, manage and operate areas of sports marketing and promotions, athletics communications, sport supervision, ticket sales, and corporate partnerships.

Description:Demonstrated ability to create and develop all aspects of an effective athletics communication strategy. Demonstrated expertise and ability to analyze, plan, develop, deliver and evaluate photographic, graphic or web content to support all forms of athletics communications.

Description:Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and evaluate a strategy for effective communications. Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and evaluate written content to be used for communications with the media, fans, prospective student-athletes and alumni. Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and evaluate athletics marketing programs and materials.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.
Education:A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, or related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.
A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required.

Department Statement:The Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations provides strategic and effective leadership of the business and financial operations for the Colgate Athletics Department. This position is a highly visible leadership role requiring an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact and political savvy. This position will include sport oversight responsibilities and be a member of the Athletics Senior Leadership Team.
