YOUR ROLE

Level IIl associates support the operation by controlling inventory from entry into the building through to shipment to our customers and appropriately handling returns from customers in accordance with customer processes. These responsibilities include all functions listed below that are performed in accordance with documented processes and procedures to ensure accurate shipment to our customers. A Level III associate may be asked to perform any of the tasks listed below and any Level II and Level I functions.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results.

Major Responsibility: Receiving

  • Supporting Actions:
  • Receive all inbound freight utilizing an RF scanner
  • Print put-away label for stocking
  • Create PO's using Impulse and/or SAP
  • Inventory is placed into locations safely, neatly organized. Inventory is clear of unnecessary corner boards, shrink wrap, loose material and in accordance with housekeeping guidelines
  • Always maintain inventory integrity by verifying quantities, vendor part number, UPC and the condition of the product, verify that all items on BOL are received.
  • End Results: Inventory is received and put away, available for picking and shipment to customer
Major Responsibility: Exception/Full Billing/QA Billing
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Using RF scanner scan label of box that has been routed to the exception line
  • Scan each item in the box looking for the error
  • Display weight; manually change weight and dimensions if needed
  • If no errors, QA full order and place on scale to be billed
  • If discrepancy, short pick, over pick, damage or wrong product, create error report
  • Place box in discrepancy holding are for correction by research associate
  • End Results: All discrepancies are fixed resulting in correct shipment to customer
Major Responsibility: Inventory Control
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Verify and accurately count product in locations to ensure that balance on hand is correct
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Physically correct balance on hand and perform the correct adjustment into IMFIRST
  • Report variances and root causes
  • Verify and accurately count product placed on C-hold to ensure that balance on hand is correct
  • Physically correct balance on hand and perform the correct adjustment into IMFIRST
  • Verify and accurately count product placed on Q-hold to ensure product belongs to the correct vendor
  • If discrepancy found with product such as color or size does match with vendor SKU, contact vendor to correct error
  • Correcting the error may involve performing an adjustment from one particular SKU to another for that vendor
  • Research through IM-COUNTED for discrepancies in history for each SKU
  • Verify all Sku's involved with DCR
  • Includes verifying all bins and similar SKU's
  • Research through IM-COUNTED for discrepancies in history for each SKU
  • Research through Recon Tool for discrepancies with motion weight, reportins, and ETS (Error Truck Scan)
  • Verify wrong tender carton log
  • Verify IMPULSE system for any previous adjustments
  • Approve or deny CDR
  • End Results: Inventory will be correct and ready for associates to pick and send accurate shipments to customers
Major Responsibility: Returns
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Enter RMA number using RF scanner
  • Scan shipping label for the tracking id field
  • Remove and visually inspect the item returned
  • Perform Overgood inventory to change disposition code or add item not included in the RMA
  • Scan UPC and enter store # with Quantity. Print UPC label if it is not found or is damaged
  • Remove old shipping labels or apply blank labels over the original
  • Return all items and packing material into the box; close and seal the box
  • Retrieve put-away label and apply to item/box and place on conveyor or in the research area as needed
  • Communicates with vendors and customers
  • End Results: All undamaged product will be returned to shelves and damaged product will be processed following all documented processes and customer requirements.
Major Responsibility: LTL Shipping
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Ensure product is verified based on quantity and quality
  • Ensure Bills of Freight are correct; scan accurate weight to match the freight
  • Palletize freight
  • Ensure all carrier restrictions are met
  • Process paperwork by ensure that the BOL is correct
  • Grid product to the proper Carrier Cones
  • Close out pallet by wrapping freight and signing the BOL
  • Physically move product to shipping lane (Fedex, Saia, UPS, etc.)
  • Properly file BOLS by carrier
  • End Results: All LTL shipping will meet all carrier and customer requirements
Major Responsibility: Full-Case Non-Con Pick (**)
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Picks non-conveyable product utilizing powered equipment
  • End Results: All full-case non conveyable product will be picked and shipped meeting all carrier and customer requirements
  • Major Responsibility: Production Control
  • Supporting Actions:
  • Create/organize batches
  • Release orders for picking across all areas
  • Communicate with Sales via email/phone for order or unit forecasts for planning
  • End Results: Orders are released for picking/packaging to customers

Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms.
  • This position may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch as it relates to product handling and distribution, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds...
  • This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • This position will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
  • This position may be required to climb ladders
  • Associate will be expected to work overtime and extra days as dictated by business needs
