Description:

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal and liver pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board Certification/Eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology is Required and an unrestricted medical license/eligibility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Teaching responsibilities may include residents, fellows and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include signout in surgical pathology with a focus in gastrointestinal pathology, autopsy coverage, frozen sections and evening call.

Applicants in mid-career with established records and 5 or more years of experience are encouraged to apply.
