Are You Our Next Automation Controls Engineer?

The Automation Controls Engineer position will be responsible in provide strong technical skills and knowledge of modern control systems in an industrial environment. This position will be responsible in designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Control System in and effort to improve reliability and optimize operations.

What will you do?

  • Support existing Industrial control systems, including Programing PLC (i.e. Allen Bradley) , DCS (i.e. Yokogawa)
  • Design and deploy new automation strategies on existing system
  • Ability to decode and document existing PLC/DCS logic
  • Develop and modify HMI platforms utilizing High Performance HMI concepts
  • Develop control specifications for operational improvements
  • Support capital projects from an automation standpoint by providing expertise in hardware and software requirements
  • Designs, develops, programs PLC code for given requirements and specifications
  • Troubleshooting industrial control network issues that require knowledge of network fundamentals and modern network technologies
  • Develop a robust alarm management system
  • Support the management of OSI PI Historians

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

Engineer II
  • Bachelor Computer/Electrical/ Electronic Engineer or Computer Science
  • 2+ years of experience with industrial electrical/machine Control system

Engineer III
  • Bachelor Computer/Electrical/ Electronic Engineer or Computer Science
  • 4+ years of experience with industrial electrical/machine Control system

Senior Engineer
  • Bachelor Computer/Electrical/ Electronic Engineer or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of experience with industrial electrical/machine Control system
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC programming: Rockwell Automation RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000, Connected Components Workbench or similar PLC control system
  • Knowledge of HMI systems. Rockwell Automation Factory Talk View Studio SE/ME or comparable HMI software
  • Experience with modern DCS Platform such as Yokogawa
  • Experience in the design and implementation of new and/or existing PLC based process control systems
  • Knowledge of network and communication protocols
  • Experience with industrial communications networks, such as Ethernet/IP, fiber optic systems, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, ControlNet
  • Experience in process control discrete and analog signals for DCS/PLC based systems including hardware design, hardware testing, troubleshooting and implementation
  • Knowledge of motion control systems, including servo applications
