Position: Azure Business Analyst

Location: Remote.

Job Description:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, with a successful track record of building BI capabilities within an organization.
  
• Intermediate to advanced (or you can say proven) experience with cloud-based BI platforms and technologies, particularly Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Analysis Services.
  
• Experienced with Azure Data Factory for data movement and orchestration.
  
• Knowledge of working with Azure Blob Storage for storing unstructured data.
  
• Experience with Databricks:
  
• Proficiency in using Databricks, a managed platform for running Apache Spark.
  
• Ability to create and manage notebooks, clusters, and jobs within Databricks.
  
• Python (Preferably PySpark):
  
• Strong Python skills, especially for data manipulation and analysis.
  
• Ideally, experience with PySpark, which allows Python code to be executed on Spark clusters.
  
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  
• Experience in architecting and implementing end-to-end BI solutions on Azure, including data integration, modeling, and reporting/visualization tools.
  
• Solid understanding of database management systems, data integration techniques, and data governance principles, with a focus on Azure services.
  
• Data analysis, visualization, interpretation, and business intelligence skills.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions within the Azure environment.
