What You'll Do

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be on the forefront of our customer's transformation to cloud-based architectures. The Azure Data engineer is responsible for the design, migration, development and implementation of efficient applications and services for the Windows Azure Platform. This is a technical customer-facing role that will be accountable for the many facets of customer cloud implementations. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will also hone your technical, management and consulting skills by participating in large projects and benefiting from the vast knowledge of your teammates.

Minimum education qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the data engineering roles and responsibilities in the Information technology sector
  • Familiar with the data deletion techniques in RDBMS, BigData and Cloud tech along with hands-on
  • Essential Skillset :- Spark Scala, Pyspark, RDBMS (Oracle/TD/SQL Server etc.), BigData, Hive, GCP/Azure, AWS and Unix Shell
  • Ability to build and automate processes that support data transformation via ETL & scripting frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to issue resolution
  • Strong working knowledge on SQL and database connectivity such as JDBC, ODBC, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge no-SQL data-stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) and/or Hadoop technologies (such HDFS, Hive, HBase, etc.)
  • Some background in application development with REST web services, python, etc.
