Business Information Developer Sr.

This position operates on a Flex 1 schedule reporting to their local Pulse Point 0-3 times per month.

Job Summary

Position will develop and maintain analytical reporting tools to support pharmacy analyses. In addition, this position will ensure the implementation and execution of project deliverables related to pharmacy reporting and analytics, up to and through delivery.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Develops and executes data mining analyses. Uses program languages to extract data.
  
• Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
  
• Programs and writes queries and reports.
  
• Work on defined and undefined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  
• Able to interpret and relay business requirements from end customers to development team.
  
• Ability to prioritize reports and requirements from customers and peers.
  
• Handle complex problems/issues where analysis of situations, or data, requires an evaluation of intangible factors, innovative solutions, and effective and collaborative leadership.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
  
• Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years related analytical experience including Pharmacy Data Analytics as it relates to drug and claim reporting is preferred.
  
• Previous pharmacy operational knowledge strongly preferred.
  
• Understanding of Pharmacy Data Analytics as it relates to drug and claim reporting.
  
• Working knowledge with SQL/Teradata and combinations of data mining and reporting tools are preferred.
  
• SAS EG and Python knowledge is preferred.
  

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $76,640 to $137,952.

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
