Job DescriptionStudent assistant in library cataloging department. Applicants for this position must be able to work a regular schedule of 10 - 20 hours per week.

Student duties may include:

  • Searching and editing records in OCLC and Voyager
  • Moving books and other materials
  • Moving book trucks
  • Retrieving materials from the stacks; or tasks that are part of the physical preparation of library materials (such as attaching labels)
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Current KU student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours
  • Must be able to work a regular schedule of 10 or more hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some knowledge of one or more foreign languages
  • Previous library experience preferred
