What you'll do...

As a Channel Sales Manager, your role involves strategically managing relationships with channel partners to drive referrals, influence opportunities, and increase awareness of Walmart GoLocal.

Referral and Opportunity Generation:

  • Proactively engage with existing channel partners to drive potential leads and opportunities for Walmart GoLocal
  • Work closely with partners to identify potential sales opportunities and provide necessary support and resources to help them convert these opportunities.

Partner Enablement:

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the customer-facing teams within our partner organizations about Walmart GoLocal's offerings, value proposition, and key selling points.
  • Provide partners with sales collateral, product demonstrations, and other resources they need to effectively promote Walmart GoLocal to their clients.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish partnerships with system integrators, delivery orchestration, and platform partners that can help drive both top-of-funnel (awareness) and bottom-of-funnel (conversion) activities for Walmart GoLocal.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with these partners, understanding their business objectives and align with the goals of Walmart GoLocal.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams to align channel partner activities with overall sales and marketing strategies.
  • Regularly communicate with channel partners to keep them informed about new product developments, promotional campaigns, and other relevant updates.
  • Provide partners with timely feedback and support to address any issues or challenges they may encounter in promoting Walmart GoLocal to their clients.

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to channel partner activities, such as opportunity creation, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization in the channel partner program.
  • Adjust strategies and tactics as needed to maximize the effectiveness of partner-driven sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience
  • Proven track record of success in channel sales management, with a focus on partnerships, preferably in the technology, e-commerce, or logistics industry.
  • Extensive experience working in the eCommerce and retail space, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and trends.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives
