Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, seeks Clinical Associates at 50% effort for renewable terms of up to two years to join the thriving Center for Liver Diseases. Appointees will primarily assume clinical responsibilities at various locations in the Chicagoland area, with specific locations and clinical duties to be determined. In addition, there will be opportunities for inpatient consultation at our main campus located in Hyde Park. We especially welcome applicants with advanced training in transplant hepatology. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
