Clinical Lead (LCSW or LPC) - Innovative Crisis Response Model - Little Rock, AR

Benchmark Human Services, a national leader in behavioral health and intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) services/systems design, is seeking licensed clinicians to serve on a multi-disciplinary senior team implementing an innovative community based crisis response project located in Little Rock, Arkansas, in partnership with Summit Community Care (Summit) a Provider-Led AR Shared Services Entity (PASSE). Position provides clinical leadership on crisis Level 1 interventions, training and technical assistance to provider members, families and front line staff. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the Crisis Support Team under Benchmark's Provider Focus project, serve as a clinical lead on crisis Level 1 interventions. The Crisis Support Team will assist Summit provider members in building capacity to serve persons with IDD in crisis and at high risk for inpatient placement, involvement with law enforcement, potential harm to themselves or others, recidivism, or loss of residential/home placement due to severe behavioral, psychiatric or trauma related issues. Coordinate with providers, law enforcement, hospitals, government agencies, families/advocates, and behavioral health partners. Provide technical assistance to Summit provider members and case management wrap around services to individuals in crisis. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required, respond immediately when dispatched on crisis responses, and be present to provide consultation to provider agency staff. Must be experienced and competent in profession, possess effective communication and collaboration skills, and maintain any applicable license, training, and/ or certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

  1. Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  2. Current Licensure as LCSW or LPC
  3. Meet criteria to maintain license
  4. CPR/Basic First aid and CPI with on-going recertification
  5. Experience providing case management services to individuals with IDD and/or behavioral health diagnoses, or similar intensive needs
  6. Must be computer literate

Preferred:
  1. Experience working with individuals with IDD and/or behavioral health diagnoses and experiencing crisis situations
  2. Working knowledge of the Arkansas DHS service system
  3. Skilled in person-in-environment and trauma informed models of service
  4. Experience in IDD/behavioral health or other intensive case management, pediatric and early intervention programs or IDD residential services, and/or behavioral health services desirable
