Primary functions
• Research and develop clinical trainings based on needs of the DDTT/ITS service line
• Develops curriculum and program materials to enhance professional development of clinical skills
• Provide in person and online training sessions within Merakey and externally to stakeholders
• Coordinate with team to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training
• Conduct annual service line fidelity reviews and ongoing program quality reviews
• Conduct process analysis projects with DDTT/ITS operational leadership
• Support DDTT/ITS field operations through the change process following an audit/process mapping or new initiatives
• Conduct critical incident reviews as assigned
• Coordinate and facilitate DDTT/ITS Clinical Case Reviews and serves as a representative on the ABH Clinical Case Review team when requested
• Conducts ongoing case review and provide client specific case consultation
• Provides verbal and written reports to enhance the operations and implementation of services
• Collaborate with operational leadership in reviewing, editing, and approving Corrective Action and Performance Improvement Plans for DDTT/ITS teams
• Support operational leadership in the implementation and monitoring of corrective action plans and improvement plans
• Collaborate with other divisions regarding new initiatives and industry trends
• Liaison with Quality and Compliance Organization
• Develop collaborative relationships with operational teams in order to facilitate communication and fulfill the desired supportive role of the DDTT/ITS Lead Clinical Specialist
• Act as a liaison and consults with community agencies and families to maintain coordination with DDTT/ITS programs
• Participate in the client specific team meetings as requested
• Provide onsite clinical consultation and hands on skills building to staff as requested
• Participates in program, divisional and enterprise committees
• Maintain standards of conduct commensurate with Merakey values, policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state, county, and payer regulations and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
Client Services when requested
• Provides onsite treatment services
• Participates in treatment team meetings
• Participates in staff team meetings
• Conducts onsite observation of clients and/or staff for the purpose of providing treatment recommendations of supporting the skill development of staff
Required:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
• Two years experience providing treatment services to individuals with a dual diagnosis of IDD and MH
• One year experience providing clinical supervision to staff
• Non-licensed clinician must have increased direct supervision by a licensed professional and must be actively working toward licensure
• Have knowledge in behavior modification techniques such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
Preferred:
• Current and unrestricted clinical license in PA, OH or CA OR
• NADD-Clinical Certification OR
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst
