Our client, a Cambridge-based nonprofit for economic research, is seeking a temporary Communication Coordinator to join its team. The position supports a variety of activities associated with public information and research dissemination, including the management of subscriptions series and other publications. It also involves support for the organization's front desk activities at its offices in Cambridge.

Pay: $24/hr - $25/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing subscriptions to research periodicals; maintaining subscriber database, supporting both individual subscribers and information service providers, managing all aspects of the billing process including processing payments, and assisting subscribers with access.
* Processes requests for journalist access to Working Paper series.
* Assists subscribers with troubleshooting electronic access issues.
* In consultation with Webmaster reviews and uploads content onto the organization's website.
* Provides support to the Working Paper Coordinator processing working paper submissions and revisions to Working Papers as needed.
* Provides support to the Public Information department in its social media outreach.
* Serve as the first point of contact for visitors. Greets, welcomes, and directs visitors appropriately, notifies company personnel of visitor arrival, maintains security and telecommunications system.
* Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:
* Associates degree with one to three years of relevant experience.
* Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team and able to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.
* Experience in maintaining confidential materials.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, including follow-through and tracking of long-term projects and daily tasks; will be detail-oriented, flexible and precise; and will be very comfortable working with office software (Word, Excel, Acrobat, and data entry).
