Continuing Medical Education Administrator [RP-N]
Roswell Park Cancer Institute
First Shift (United States of America)
Provides overall direction and supervision of the organization's Continuing Medical Education (CME) function; establishes learning opportunities for physician CME activities using computer-based
training and technologies; manages database system to track all facets of conference planning certified by ACCME accreditation; plans meetings; supervises employees.
Required Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in the development, organization and/or delivery of staff training programs in a hospital or academic and research medical center including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in the development, organization and/or delivery of staff training programs in a hospital or academic and research medical center including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have previous experience with ACCME accreditation & standards as well as experience planning, delivering and assessing CME programs. In addition, the preferred candidate should have effective problem solving and communication skills in order to be effective at committee engagement, recruitment and retention.
