RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a well established mid-size manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area is looking to add a Controller to their leadership team. This is a hands-on role reporting to the President.Duties Include:- Controller will manage a staff of 2 - oversight on all accounting and IT functions
- Directly responsible for production of monthly financial package and sales reporting to Exec team and ownership group
- Produce analysis, create, and post journal entries and consolidate financial statements, to include international operations
- Run external audit engagement - prepare all related documentation for both audit and tax auditors
- Create annual budget and report actual results against plan
- As a Controller, you will manage banking relationship - create weekly borrowing base calculations for submission
- Manage information flow and reporting with international operations
- Export and manipulate data from MRP system to create reports used in daily strategic decision making
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
