Are you an experienced technician looking for a change? Or a hospital with structure and management in place? Are you a new graduate looking to develop your skills? VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our expanding Primary Care Hospital!

Who We Are:

VCA Schaumburg is a full service, veterinary hospital offering preventative/routine medical care, emergency care, and hospitalization. In addition to our general Veterinary services, we offer advanced services such as cold laser therapy, ultrasound, orthopedic surgeries, and advanced soft tissue surgeries.

We Care For:

We care for dogs and cats.

Job Snapshot:

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Doctors in patient care and client communication.
  • Maintaining electronic medical records.
  • Collecting, handling and processing of samples for laboratory testing.
  • Admitting and discharging patients.
  • Patient assessment and triage
  • Surgical assisting, anesthesia administration and monitoring
  • Dentistry
  • Radiology
  • Venipuncture and IVC placement
  • So much more!

Compensation: $ 19.50 - 24 / hour

Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
