Job Description

Overview

Job Description: Provide information to members, providers and clients in response to inquiries about the health plan.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Essential Functions:

  • Professionally handle incoming calls, emails, and chats from members, providers, or clients while resolving issues promptly and thoroughly.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gathers all pertinent information (HIPPA) before providing any secure information to a caller.
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and member benefits in decision-making. Handles issues in the best interest of both members and the company.
  • Utilize all tools provided to assist the caller and attempt to resolve with first call resolution.
  • Completes thorough documentation of customer interactions.
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications/Education/Licensure: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality. Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. 1 + years of experience in a customer service role health care preferred.
