POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages sales activities in the assigned territory.

Territory: Travel Southern California Bakersfield to San Diego

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops the annual sales plan and sales budget.

• Coordinates sales in the assigned territory by establishing sales goals, and advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

• Ability to interpret company policy as it applies to the region.

• Responsible for establishing and managing dealers as dictated by market conditions.

• Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales.

• Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

• Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote product.

• Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

• Utilizes V2I to report account activity and sales calls.

• Develop ASR success by providing guidance and counseling (if assigned).

• Other duties may be assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Extended periods of computer input.

Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk.

Maximum unassisted lift 35 lbs, average lift less than 10 lbs.

Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor and calculator.

Requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone.

Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the geographical area in a car and/or air travel.

Must be capable of walking extensively on jobsites, in factories, and through distribution centers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment.

Inside average office environment.

Average office noise levels.

No personal protective equipment required.

Ambient temperature between 68• and 76•

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $75,000-$80,000 with potential bonus and commission structure $100k-130k.
