Responsibilities

The Organizational Development Director supporting Talent & Change Management, provides support and leads efforts that strengthen the performance of Wellstar leaders, providers and team members to consistently achieve desired patient outcomes and advance system priorities and strategies. Provides expert consultating in leader development and coaching, organization development interventions, change management, surveys and assessments and other talent management processes to drive effective standordization and alignment across Wellstar to build organizational cohesion, health and flexibility. This individual is regarded as a trusted partner and works in collaboration with HR Business Partners, Talent management/organizational learning leadership and local executives to support development and change initiatives. The Organizational Development Director works independently and is regarded as an informal senior leader and member of the local executive team. Identifies issues and trends, recommends improvements, and facilitates change using a collaborative approach involving organizational learning, other human resources centers of excellence and other stakeholders as necessary. Supports the integration of corporate initiatives and objectives into business unit operations. The Director applies the principles and practices of organizational development and human resource management to contribute to the success of the health system.
Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Master's degree required, preferably in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resource Management with OD emphasis, Adult Education or related field.

Preferred Licensure/Certification: Certification in assessment tool administration, change management, and/or executive leadership coaching is preferred.

Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in internal consulting working with executives and manager coaching, management consulting, organizational development, change management or a related field, with 3-5 of those years in a Senior Manager or above role; Experience in a complex multi-site organization in an intermediate to large size organization (5,000 to 10,000 FTE's). Healthcare experience preferred.
