About the Team
The AP Higher Ed team at College Board is a small, collaborative team that represents all AP courses to faculty and staff at colleges and universities across the country. Team members are experts in public speaking and in navigating 1:1 individual conversations with faculty, Academic Affairs staff, and at times, policy makers at the state level. Our work incorporates technology in our outreach, we often use zoom and other internet conferencing tools to conduct outreach and advocacy. We pride ourselves on being focused on the perspective of our constituents - on truly serving as ambassadors for the AP program to higher ed, and, also as ambassadors of the Academy back to the AP program. Our focus is on securing new or improving existing credit or placement policies for qualifying AP scores - work that then allows students to benefit from the advanced work they engaged in during high school.
