JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Job Responsibilities/Key Activities/Elements:

  • Credit Underwriting Oversight with Delegated Credit Authority:
    • Review and opine on credit requests for Equipment Finance and any other areas of coverage assigned.
    • Ensure underwriting packages are complete, thorough, and prepared consistent with credit policies and procedures of the Bank. The content should reflect a clear understanding of the proposed credit undertaking in the context of the Bank's lending appetite and include a comprehensive and informative credit analysis and due diligence summary which details the risks of the transaction.
    • Approve transactions within delegated credit authority and recommend credit action on transactions that exceed delegated authority.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist Managing Director and DCCO in portfolio monitoring, including periodic portfolio reviews.
  • Any other specifically assigned projects/tasks related to the role.


  • EXPERIENCE

  • For this position, you must have at least 8 years of experience in Commercial Lending and Credit, with a well-developed understanding of Equipment Finance as well as other commercial lending products.

  • Specific Job Related Education & Skills

  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else, extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
  • Strong working knowledge of all credit disciplines and portfolio risk management.
  • Specific experience with some or all areas of middle market lending such as Equipment Finance, ABL, and cash flow lending.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, procedures and techniques and well-demonstrated understanding of loan risk factors.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
