What we're looking for:

Wrike, now part of Citrix, is looking for a talented Director of Content Marketing to own our strategic vision and execution of Wrike's content marketing strategy. In partnership with Wrike and Citrix's talented writers, designers and marketers, you will develop a world-class multi-channel, multi-format content strategy that builds our company brand, engages new and existing customers, and drives SEO and conversion. You will lead and inspire strategically sound content ideas and elevate creative thinking across the content marketing team, and help ensure unified, relevant messaging across all channels such as demand generation, digital and web assets including blogs, thought leadership, campaign assets, social, video strategy and more.

This is a newly created role titled Director of Content Marketing, and it will report into the Head of Corporate Marketing.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead content strategy and roadmap - Lead our content strategy for Wrike, defining the content team's objectives and goals within the larger marketing organization and business. You will craft and own the team's roadmap and budget to meet objectives and maximize effectiveness against key success metrics and KPIs.
  • Live and breathe our ideal customer profile - Act as an expert in understanding what works for the Wrike customer and prospect community, making sure that the content we develop has the greatest impact and resonance with our priority audiences, and elevates us as a thought leader.
  • Drive creative thinking - Blend effectiveness and creativity in order to create best-in-class content that incites engagement and grows our audiences. Act as a creative champion for new, interesting content ideas.
  • Internal strategic partner - Partner with our product, demand gen, brand, design & sales teams to make sure our narrative is cohesive, inspiring, and delivered consistently across every touchpoint. Ensure content development aligns with funnel-building objectives for target segments.
  • Operationalize content - Develop and execute on a broad vision to transform content development, in partnership with relevant departments, into a globally agile and collaborative network across the company.
  • Optimize towards objectives- Leverage data, reporting and analytical insights to set goals, test, measure success, and continually refine our content mix and strategy toward better outcomes.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing or related disciplines preferably in B2B SaaS with a technical background
  • Proven work experience leading and/or mentoring a team as a Content marketing director/senior manager
  • World-class writing and editing skills and a love for creating top-performing content
  • An editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Ability to synthesize technical details into customer-facing value
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
