Life Fitness is the global leader in commercial-grade fitness equipment. We are rapidly growing our digital capabilities to serve the needs of our global customers including health clubs, luxury hotels, and apartment complexes, as well as high-end home gyms. We're looking for a talented eCommerce Merchandiser to join our team at our HQ in Rosemont, IL. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online shopping experience for our B2B and D2C customers, optimizing product assortment, and driving sales through effective merchandising tailored to the needs of fitness enthusiasts.

**this is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days** #LI-Hybrid

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Merchandising Strategy for B2B & D2C:

  • Help develop and implement a merchandising strategy aligned with Life Fitness's business goals, focusing on driving online sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience of our online customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the unique requirements of B2B & D2C customers in the fitness industry.
  • Manage and leverage marketplaces like Amazon to further extend the reach and brand awareness of Life Fitness to high-end online shoppers.

Product Assortment and Curation for B2B & D2C:
  • Curate and manage our product catalog, ensuring a well-balanced assortment that meets the specific needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Build Customer-specific product catalogs for various key accounts ensuring selection and pricing meets contracted terms
  • Review, approve and on-board new and existing B2B customers to the eCommerce experience
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends within the fitness industry to make informed decisions on product selection and placement.
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize AOV and repeat purchase rates
  • Leverage SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.

User Experience Optimization for B2B & D2C:
  • Leverage your digital design skills along with external UX/UI teams to optimize the online shopping experience, including product page layout, navigation, and search functionality.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve website navigation, product categorization, and search functionality.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze user behavior within the fitness industry to continually improve the website's merchandising effectiveness.

Data Analysis for B2B & D2C:
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to B2B & D2C product sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth within the B2B space.
Competitor Analysis for B2B & D2C:
  • Stay informed about industry trends within the fitness sector and conduct regular competitor analysis to identify merchandising best practices and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU (QUALIFICATIONS):
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an eCommerce Merchandising role within a B2B and D2C environment.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Shopify preferred), online retail trends specific to the fitness industry, and merchandising strategies for business customers.
  • Experience working with large, multi-variable data sets, and deploying analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with fitness or related industries is a plus.
  • An entrepreneurial focus - you're comfortable working with ambiguity, and know how to get things done.
