RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Ecommerce Product Owner in Valencia, CA.Summary:The client is looking for someone who will support the development of the chat function for client's website. This person will be a part of the Center of Excellence team which is responsible for supporting the overall function of the website department. The Ecommerce Product Owner would be helping with vendor management, contracts, as well as supporting operations for onboarding/building out the eCommerce team/platform specifically.Key Tasks:
  • Creating and maintaining the product backlog of features and user stories
  • Providing vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the product development process
  • Develop Business cases, engage with vendors and define ideal state for new technology integrations
  • Resource manage the Product oriented delivery teams and create track and request capital and operational funds to complete the roadmap
  • Prioritizing the backlog according to business value and alignment with strategy
  • Participating in Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, and Sprint Demand estimation activities
  • Inspecting the product's progress during each iteration and accepting or rejecting work
  • Confirming that the team always has an adequate amount of groomed and prepared tasks
  • Playing an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Collaborating with product management, user experience, technology leaders, and business stakeholders on product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
  • Keeping current on Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful consumer and eCommerce products
  • Experience on at least one customer facing ecommerce platform required, travel industry experience a plus
  • Ideally, someone with product development and vendor management experience, someone who has led 3-4 developers before; Prior chat experience is a plus
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge on how to manage, own and drive end-to-end product requirements including prioritizing complex deliverables, driving discussions that lead to solutions and running large meetings with technical and business teams
  • Deep understanding and experience in writing business and functional requirements and user stories
  • Excellent command of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodology; Understanding of mobile-first and design-thinking frameworks
  • Understanding of effective product lifecycle planning
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with multifunctional teams, both internal and external
  • Motivational and strong people skills to lead by example and excel at communication to ensure alignment with all team members
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and judgments in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Resource manage Product Oriented delivery teams; Source talent, track and report on budget and forecast for staff augmentation
  • Capital v. Operational budget management
  • Build business cases and executive presentations including feasibility, sensitivity, and technical analysis for the proposed solutions
  • Strong product management skills with proven track record of managing multiple priorities concurrently, delivering high quality work under tight timelines, and in budget


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
