Entry Level Landscape Architect

Barge invites you to kickstart your career with us as an Entry-Level Landscape Architect in our Landscape Architecture and Planning (LA/P) group. Your Role: As an Entry-Level Landscape Architect, you'll be:

  • Passionate Collaborator: Share your enthusiasm for Landscape Architecture in our creative, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Hands-On Creator: Assist in project tasks, from research to producing plans and specifications for layout, planting, and design details.
  • Innovative Thinker: Participate in critical thinking exercises during the kick-off and schematic phases of design analysis and fabrication.
  • Creative Contributor: Contribute to the preparation and modification of graphics, reports, exhibits, and cost estimates for conceptual designs and master plans.
  • Team Player: Provide support to the landscape architecture and planning production team, learning and growing with every project.


Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • If you're: A Student Trailblazer: May 2024 grads are welcome to apply!
  • Self-Motivated Explorer: Eager to learn, grow, and pursue a career in landscape architecture, including licensure.
  • Design Dynamo: Strong graphic, design, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Tech-Savvy Explorer: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus points for familiarity with Lumion, LandFX, and Civil3D.
  • Passionate Pioneer: Strong work ethic and a burning passion for the profession.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work harmoniously with other design disciplines in a collaborative environment.
