We currently have an exciting and immediate opportunity for a talented Field Supervisor in Granbury. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the continued growth of SouthWest Water's successful footprint in Texas, where we are an established water and wastewater utility owner.
As part of our Field Operations team, you will report to the Area Manager.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
To ensure all operational, maintenance, and customer service needs are met on a daily basis.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local, Company rules/regulations, and policies associated with all assigned areas placed under his/her authority.
As needed, will perform routine checks of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities; monitor and train staff in all aspects of system functions and safety.
Take on temporary responsibilities as area manager, during the managers' absence.
Assist in all areas of operations, maintenance, and customer service as needed for all facility systems within the company.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Requires knowledge normally acquired through attainment of a High School Diploma or GED plus job-related skills and technical knowledge of water and wastewater operations and maintenance attained by specialized course and on-the-job training.
Experience: Requires a minimum of three years leadership experience and five years directly related to water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, customer service, and prefer experience operating back-hoe and/or track-hoe equipment.
Certificates & Licenses: Class C Water and Wastewater Certification issued by the TCEQ
Driver's License: Valid Texas Drivers License
Other Requirements
Work is complex and varied and requires the interpretation of technical and detailed guidelines, policies, and procedures; also the ability to gather and interpret data involving analysis of several factors. Requires skills in explanation, persuasion, and diplomacy to resolve and arrive at decisions with others. Work requires driving a company vehicle; at on-site field locations, i.e. treatment plants, wells, etc., work may also require lifting/carrying hoses, ladders, supplies, motors, pumps, etc.; climbing in and around clarifiers, belt presses, pipes, etc.; operating heavy equipment. Equipment used includes company vehicles for transportation to and around field locations; personal computer and/or computer terminal tools to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment. May also use pumps, motors, belt presses, laboratory test equipment, and effluent sampler.
