Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Aesthetics Business Unit and will serve as the main point of contact regarding the financial impact of pricing, promotions, and the consumer loyalty program. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing the marketing spend and coming up with solutions for staying within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L impact accountability of the loyalty program with a strong partnership with the Marketing Director of the loyalty program. Analyze and investigate trends for key P&L lines versus competitive data and historical data. Analyze and investigate trends for KPIs, process efficiency, cash flow and liabilities, and identify and quantify risk from the above trend analyses
  • Participate in monthly business planning process which includes challenging the sales forecasts, providing options to help deliver the sales numbers, and ensuring that the proper spend is reflected in the forecast
  • Forecast the gross to net activity (over $700M of expenses) in the monthly forecast which includes the impact to the P&L from the discounts and rebates in the various pricing tiers
  • Model ad hoc pricing and consumer loyalty program scenarios and present the results to the team in a clear, easy to follow manner
  • Calculate the gross to net true ups which include the liabilities for discounts, rebates, and promotions
  • Forecast the consumer loyalty program impact to the P&L along with providing frequent updates to the program director
  • Assist with promotion planning which includes the liability calculation, pre-ROI calculation, and the P&L for the promotion. Track the adequacy of the liabilities on promotions
  • Ensure proper financial accounting for all gross to net activity to include aligning with the Accounting department on the treatment of new initiatives.
  • Obtain the proper approvals and cross functional alignment on all pricing, promotions, and loyalty program related activities.
  • Assist Senior Finance Manager with the balance sheet, cash forecasts and ad-hoc executive review and analysis as needed
  • Assist in pricing assessment with cross-functional teams to ensure optimization
  • Manage POs and ensure that they are correctly reflected in the monthly forecast
  • Track business unit spend by cost center and ensure it stays within budget

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting required; Master's degree in finance, MBA or CPA is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and/or planning within corporate environment.
  • Experience in healthcare buy-and-bill, pharmaceuticals, medical device, or business-to-business-to-consumer model is preferred.
  • Strong track record of forward-looking risk mitigation to consistently and sustainably deliver on business commitments
  • Successful experience with P&L management, strong business partnering, and a proven record of growth in job responsibilities
  • Experience in financial planning and/or analysis in mid-sized and large corporate structures or lead in public accounting firm is preferred
  • Must demonstrate solid quantitative/analytical and end-user computing skills using MS Office, Oracle and similar products
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
