Zurich North America is currently hiring a Functional FS-CD SAP Consultant, and this person will work in our North America HQ in Schaumburg, IL. He/She will report to the SAP Technical Manager.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for following business processes around Billing and Collection using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business:

  • Open item accounting
  • Payment processing
  • Dunning
  • Payment Lot
  • Broker collections
  • Correspondence
  • Month End close and financial accounting.
  • The consultant will create clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and out-of-the-box software functionality.
  • Work with multi-functional/technical teams to prioritize the work and then drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs and co-ordinate with teams to get development moving.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  • He/she will lead full life cycle implementations of FS-CD and lead other projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in process implementation and optimization in the areas of Billing and Disbursement using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business.
  • Multiple end-to-end project lifecycle experience within SAP FS-CD/FICO
  • Must have a Financial Services and/or an accounting background for SAP FS-CD
  • Team player who works well with technical and business resources
  • Experience with 3 to 4 full life cycle implementations of FSCD
  • Knowledge of FS-CD on S4 HANA
  • Knowledge of integrations with SAP Reinsurance (FS-RI) and SAP FICO is a plus.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately
  • Strong initiative; able to self-manage
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working through it to get the right things done
