Job Description

The timely performance of assigned facilities support services to include maintenanceand general building repairs.

3.1.2 Inspect overhead lights and remedy problems as needed.

3.1.3 Perform routine maintenance items to include painting, carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, and overall lab repairs on a daily basis.

3.1.4 Act as a primary contact for vendors for pest control.

3.1.5 Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

3.1.6 Performing preventative maintenance

3.1.7 Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

3.1.8 Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

3.1.9 Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.

3.1.10 Checking and responding to security and safety issues.

3.1.11 Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma

1-2 Yrs. related experience

Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsive problem solver and action oriented.
