About the role:

Everest is seeking a Global Claims Technology Leader to join the Everest Information Technology department, located at their US headquarters in Warren, New Jersey, USA or London, United Kingdom offices.

The Global Claims Technology Leader will be responsible for managing Global Claims programs and drive the overall program delivery across global divisions. With superior communication skills, the incumbent will ensure that the strategic programs are delivered with high quality, on time, on budget and in alignment to business objectives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage global delivery across Agile Release Trains (ARTs) with each ART containing multiple agile teams.
  • Provide management oversight and lead cross functional teams to ensure program deliverables are aligned to business outcomes.
  • Facilitate ART events, drive PI planning/execution and delivery through Agile processes and ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Product Owners, Business SME's, Release Train Engineers, Solution Architects, Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, and Product Engineers to drive strategic alignment.
  • Ensure timely delivery by identifying bottlenecks and removing impediments. Identify cross project dependencies, analyze risks, and ensure mitigation of potential risks.
  • Build an environment that promotes continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Deliver business outcomes through excellence in delivery.
  • Own program status communications and dashboards. Drive steering committee meetings and executive level governance meetings.
  • Mentor/Coach a team of Application engineers, Product Analysts and Quality engineers. Inspire/Influence team to achieve success.
  • Build an environment for continued success. Strive to understand our customers, our colleagues, and key stakeholders, valuing openness and building understanding and trust.

Work Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 15 + years of demonstrable experience running global technology platforms, 10+ years Agile development experience, 5+ years leadership experience.
  • Fluency in Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework. Expertise in Agile Program Delivery across Pre PI-Planning, PI Planning, Discovery, Elaboration, System demos, Inspect and Adapt.
  • Experience navigating and influencing matrixed business stakeholders and functions.
  • Experience working in an insurance or financial services organization.
  • Experience with implementing Insurance Claims Management platforms globally.
  • Scaled Agile Certification is a plus.
