Your Role: As a Health Care Member Advocate, you'll be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, providing invaluable assistance and guidance to members, healthcare providers, and internal teams. Your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inbound calls promptly and with expertise.
  • Addressing member inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and coverage.
  • Empowering members to navigate their complex healthcare services.
  • Coordinating patient referrals and managing relationships with referral partners.
  • Researching and directing calls to appropriate vendor partners.
  • Assisting members in accessing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.
  • Collaborating cross-departmentally to resolve complex member issues.
  • Documenting all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications: We're seeking candidates with:
  • A Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social work, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare customer service, preferably in a multifaceted environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Empathy and compassion towards our members' needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
