Position Overview

This HR Coordinator role supports the HR Department and employees with HR related services including HR administration, data entry, interview scheduling, onboarding, and other ad hoc responsibilities. The position is a key point of contact during the annual performance management cycle providing guidance and support to manager and employees for both system related and process related questions. The position facilities internal training sessions including manager capability building, employment law, company culture, and interviewing skills. The position is a key liaison for their assigned groups for all HRIS related matters. Works closely with Center of Excellence (COE) teams for compensation, benefits, payroll and HRIS processes.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving culture, be able to collaborate across functions within HR (talent acquisition, compensation, training, HRIS, etc.) with limited guidance and in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Effectively support change management for employees and managers.
  • Multitask with great attention to detail to ensure accuracy of produced work.
  • Be a resourceful team member of the Talent Acquisition and HRBP team to promptly respond and adapt to a fast pace environment.

Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated record of successfully providing strong costumer interface
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work at all levels of an organization effectively.
  • Strong problem solving capability and demonstrated ability to navigate competing priorities effectively while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail and a positive customer experience
  • Ability to responsibly handle confidential and sensitive information
  • A self-starter with initiative and desire to grow as an HR professional.
  • Process weekly union payroll through timecards and pay adjustments
  • Process employee changes in HRIS
  • Process attendance warnings
  • Assist other HR team members in answering benefits and other employee inquiries with tact and urgency
  • Send weekly/monthly reports to Managers
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Min 2 years experience in a Human Resources role to include, payroll, benefits, reporting

Founded in 1971 Ashville is a finishing facility with coating capabilities. Employing around 190 people the facility primarily serves the Building & Construction and Commercial Transportation markets.
