Columbia Forest Products in Chatham, Virginia currently seeks an experienced Human Resource Specialist who is passionate about recruiting, onboarding and developing talent through our company's values, policies and managing procedures.
Continuous improvement in our recruitment efforts and working with our managers and team leads to fill open positions. This includes active recruitment, job postings and updating of job descriptions.
Participating in our onboarding process with new hires and ongoing communications with employees to assist them as needed making them feel a part of the Columbia Forest Products family.
We are looking for someone with a strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office and knowledge of HRIS is a plus.
Aptitude for problem-solving, continuous improvement and compliance are also needed.Commitment to staying current on the understanding of labor laws is expected.
