Sr. HR Generalist/Geo HRBP, Americas

Job Description:

  • In the position of Sr.HR Generalist/Geo HR Business Partner, you will partner with managers at the tactical and strategic level, primarily in the areas of employee relations, talent management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits and employee experience.

  • Responsible for advanced country level HR support for respective functions and providing leaders with data driven insights on employee life-cycle.

  • This position is aligned geographically for the Americas region and will also contribute and participate in global HR projects to drive alignment across the HR organization.

  • Partner with functional HR Business Partners in the development of solutions through organizational and leadership development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives.

  • Work to identify business needs, partner with HR teams (recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, systems) and deploy pragmatic solutions.


  • Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a business partner to local and geographically dispersed managers, providing HR guidance, coaching and support and partnering/collaborating with functional HR business partners.

  • Foster "trusted advisor" relationships throughout the organization and develop such that people seek out to share, collaborate, plan, and discuss.

  • Function as a change agent and problem solver offering creative solutions to resolve issues.

  • Support and lead HR sponsored corporate projects and initiatives, working towards global alignment at 80/20 level.

  • Provide country/site level expertise for labour relations and take overall ownership of Employee Relations issues at country/site level

  • Responsible for country/site level partnership with HR Subject Matter Expert teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Experience (Engagement, CSR, Connection Programs, DEI), HR Technology etc.)

  • Partner on transition of operational work and activities from country/site to HR Global Operations


  • Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

  • Strong HR experience (2-5 years former experience as HR Generalist/HRBP preferred).

  • Extensive knowledge of local employment regulations and application to support Employee Relations cases.

  • Effective influencing, communication and collaboration skills as the role will be part of a large global matrixed organization, and dispersed Geo HRBP team.

  • Up to date with HR and workplace trends.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.


  • Preferred Requirements

  • PHR or SPHR certification desired

  • Ability to work on a variety of problems where analysis of the situation or data requires thorough identification of factors and analysis of impact

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, as well as recommend changes to process based on that analysis

  • Ability to work independently, and in a flexible environment

  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Expertise in MS Office suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
