Major Roles & Responsibilities

  • Performs random independent audits per the Enhanced QA/QC Plan of construction and maintenance related activities related to safety, quality and productivity and assure that operating procedures, materials, policies and procedures are all aligned in order to prevent future gas safety and quality compliance issues.
  • Interfaces with construction workforce, public and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Prepares and communicates reports for various activities in the department.
  • Participates in team meetings to review findings and corrective actions.


Job Requirements

Education & Experience Required :

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in gas or other regulated industry,
  • Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and regulatory requirements,
  • Knowledge of Engineering, Construction and Maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements


Skills/Abilities:

  • Work independently on assigned activities
  • Participate in implementation of corrective actions
  • Participate in monthly meetings with Inspectors, Supervisors, Managers, Contractors reporting on status of findings and corrective action plans
  • Track trends and make further recommendations on the Enhanced QA/QC Plan
  • Interface and support Operations, Gas Supply, Regulatory Affairs to achieve relevant Company goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Ability to follow up and follow through with action items and dependencies
  • Possess the ability to work across organizational lines within the company
  • Flexible and willing to step up to take on tasks beyond a job description as required
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
