Role overview

Accolade's Internship begins Monday, June 12, 2023 and will last through Friday, August 18, 2023.

This role follows our hybrid workplace model and this intern is expected onsite at the office location listed at a minimum of 2 days per week. Relocation is not available at this time.

The Software Engineering Intern, reporting to Senior Manager - Software Engineering, is responsible for ...

A day in the life...

• Begin the day by having a quick huddle with the team talking about the work we completed, what we will continue to do, and how we can help and support each other with any issues that surface.
  
• Interns will have the opportunity to pair with senior engineers to work on software design and architecture via shared documentation, white boarding, and pair programming.
  
• Soon after starting their internships interns will be diving in deep, solving some problems through writing code that will eventually go to production, building tools to improve the team's quality of life, and presenting their solutions back to the team through presentations and demos.
  
• When the team is in the office the intern can expect some team lunches, coffee runs, and happy hours where we can get to know each other better.
