Description: A Great Opportunity for an Experienced Inventory Assistant for a Jewelry Designer in NYC!
The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for sorting and logging the serial number of each piece of jewelry into an excel spreadsheet. They will make sure all orders that are going to the retails are correct and complete prior to shipping.
This job will have the following responsibilities
Picking, sorting, processing items' serial number and packing all items to be sent to the retail partners.
Utilization of proper procedures for liquidation of merchandise utilizing computer software.
As directed complete and inspect outgoing packages going to the retail partners.
Contribute to the team and work with other departments as needed.
Ensure timely order fulfillment and all spreadsheets are accurate and complete.
Assist with Client Services (retail, phone, email) as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
2+ years' experience in liquidation and project management.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment while being proactive, motivated, dedicated, and able to take initiative.
Proven ability to work to strict deadlines.
Self-motivated and team-oriented.
Ability to troubleshoot, be solution-oriented and take direction from team.
Previous experience in luxury jewelry or fashion industry is a plus!
