Overview

The function of Service Inventory Associate I is to support internal and external customers in regards to spare parts and finished goods within the Technical Services Group. This includes maintenance of inventory incoming and outgoing physically and systematically on a daily basis. Sustains a neat and well organized warehouse at all times.

Shift is 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Responsibilities

  • Assist with pulling customer work orders in a timely and efficient manner and daily basis. Pick the work orders through various systems and pack the orders using different sizes of boxes and types of packaging. These processes will be done utilizing the motorized shuttle system, computer,packing paper machine, rolling cart, pallet jack, forklift, RF scanner and various systems. Monitor daily backorder report and fill as new items arrive in stock.
  • Regularly communicate with and update numerous internal customers via phone, email and other electronic communication tools on updates regarding order fulfilment, parts requests and delivery of both in a timely manner.
  • Maintain min/max levels of stock within shuttle as well as packaging by following the direction of manager or lead. Communicate with other warehouse employees to gather needed parts. Assist with the stocking and replenishment of packaging in neat and orderly fashion for efficiency.
  • Assist with put away, both systematically and physically of all incoming items as they are received in a neat, organized manner while maintaining a professional looking appearance of warehouse and work area.
  • Back up department with shipping, receiving, RMA's and packout as needed. Cross train in other areas of the warehouse based on the needs of the business. Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Required, AA Degree a plus
  • Minimum 1-3 years warehouse experience, forklift
  • Oracle knowledge or other ERP knowledge a plus
  • Able to work with little or no supervison in this role
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds,
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills
