IT Service Desk Supervisor

Oversees IT Service Desk Level 1 and ensures that customers receive appropriate assistance; manages all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of Service Desk Level 1 tasks, including monitoring, tracking, and coordination of Service Desk Level 1 functions; contributes to problem resolution by giving in depth assistance to customers when necessary; coordinates efforts between Levels 1 and 2 of the IT Service Desk; assists Level 1 in the processing of calls, maintaining data in ticketing system and assisting the IT Service Desk Leadership with software/hardware purchasing process.
Starting salary for this position is $67,897 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, information technology, computer science or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time customer service, help desk and/or call center experience; or
2. Associate's degree in business, information systems, information technology, computer science or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time customer service, help desk and/or call center experience.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have previous service/help desk experience, experience managing staff and or projects, previous EHR support experience, process creation/documentation, experience providing remote support and mentoring/coaching experience.
