Who You Are
You have 5+ years• experience working in an IT environment or software development, preferably in an Azure based environment. You have worked on a team assisting in the creation and building of infrastructure solutions for all phases of a custom software systems development life cycle (SDLC). You have excellent verbal, written, and diagram communication skills. You are articulate in communicating concepts and can communicate complex technology solutions to non-technical audiences when necessary. You place a premium on customer satisfaction.
100% Remote position within the US - with preference for Eastern or Central time zone.

What You•ll Do
The Junior DevOps Engineer reports to the Cloud Operations Manager and works with, Software Engineering and Application Support teams, Security & Compliance teams and other relevant teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our Azure based cloud infrastructure and software development environments. You•ll play a crucial role in system reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
In support of C Space•s cloud application infrastructure, you will:
- Provide ongoing support of the existing production environments by participating in an on-call rotation schedule.
- Collaborate with development to understand the application needs and deliver quality code and infrastructure.
- Support the building and maintenance of application and infrastructure pipelines.
- Support and enhance the current cloud infrastructure.
- Respond to incidents and support requests.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance and issues for our systems and applications.
- Proficient working knowledge of Azure cloud services in a production environment including provisioning and management. (AWS a plus)
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell.
- Experience with Windows server services and roles.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Tearraform or Bicep.
- Experience with security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
- SQL Server administrative experience a plus.
- Microsoft Certifications or related certifications a plus.
